My 2001 Olds Alero gets about 19-20 MPG. I have been looking into selling it because next year I will be going to college and don’t want to be paying that much for gas in between trips. Today I saw a 1999 Nissan Maxima that gets about 25-27 MPG. Is that difference worth it?
I don’t particularly like the car I have now. It has some other problems besides the mpg.

Yes it is worth it. You would be getting 5-7 more miles per gallon. It would definitely save you money.
